Travel & Expense Compliance Analyst

T&E, Warsaw

Job Summary:

The Compliance Analyst is responsible for reviewing and investigating primarily travel and expense (T&E) compliance violations and escalating potential issues when appropriate. This position will support the Global Shared Services Compliance team. This position reports directly to the Global Compliance Manager (T&E) based in Warsaw, Poland. The individual will work closely with the Regional T&E team, the Global Process Manager T&E, Global Sourcing Management, and employees across all business units. There are no direct reports to this position.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Audit non-compliant transactions using advanced analytical software, also through contacting employees and managers, and conducting detailed research
  • Analyze non-compliant activity for potential trends
  • Identify and recommend process improvements for procedures and workflows
  • Accurately document non-compliance reasons
  • Support management reporting needs
  • Adhere to applicable policy, procedures, standards and internal controls
  • Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor to support departmental goals

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Travel & Expense or similar area is preferred
  • Very good English language skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business but not required
  • General knowledge of Travel & Expense or compliance monitoring will be an advantage
  • Proven high performer (e.g. strong time management skills, ability to multitask, highly organized)
  • Excellent problem identification, prioritization and remediation skills
  • Solid reporting capabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to resolve urgent issues with employees in a polite and discrete manner
  • Ability to identify complex issues which require further escalation
  • General understanding of sound internal control activities and practices
