Regional Logistics Specialist – Transportation [EMEA-ANZ]

Location: Virtual (with the possibility of using our Warsaw, Poland office)



As part of our EMEA-ANZ transportation/Logistics procurement team, you would be responsible for our international transport flows (Ocean – Air – Road) and support in productivity projects, supply chain optimizations and tenders (RFQ). In addition, you’ll manage some of our European carriers, follow up on their performance and support all internal stakeholders in day-to-day transportation requirements.

Internal job title: Regional Category Specialist - Transportation, EMEA-ANZ



  • Launch transport tenders (RFQ), calculate offers and present results to the business
  • Organize face-to-face carrier meetings and look for potential transport partners
  • Look for transport optimizations and arrange meetings / conference calls with local SBD entities to support and understand their transport needs
  • Support on productivity and working capital improvements
  • You are the go-to person and support the business for your transport category on daily base 
  • Check and approve premium freight and express courier requests and give instructions to the carriers
  • Set-up KPI dashboards to monitor carrier performances (spend, transit times, quality)
  • Create clear Standard Operational Procedures to support business in carrier transitions 


Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor degree in Logistics, Transport, Supply Chain or related field
  • Experience or knowledge in Logistics/Transport or willing to learn
  • Analytical, planning and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • A team player with interpersonal and strong communications skills in English (other languages are a plus)
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently, prioritising workloads & multi-tasking
  • Hands-on, winner mentality, negotiation skills
  • Demonstrate ability of decision making and problem solving
  • Works well in a pressured & demanding environment
  • Strong PC skills especially SAP/ERP, Excel and Access (MS office)
