Process Leader Warehouse Management System (WMS)

Location: Fully Remote (fully remote with office access in Warsaw, Poland), position open to candidates from all Poland locations. We also consider candidates from other European countries (remote).

Purpose:

Recommend solutions and architect WMS applications both for onsite and offsite; working together with the EANZ-EMEA-ASIA Distribution and Logistics Operations team. JDA WMS experience is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse business needs across different Distribution Centers (in different locations), translate these needs to a WMS solution and then carrying out the implementation / setup.
  • Define project scope
  • Partner with IT teams in GAP analysis and to define business requirements
  • Write training documents
  • Work with business on Change Management
  • Assist in project deliverables throughout WMS projects
  • Trusted partner for local operational teams
  • Give WMS training to DC staff, including during go-lives
  • Configuration and Setup of JDA WMS environments
  • Knowledge sharing regarding setups across different DC’s
  • Troubleshooting in the area of WMS setups
  • Participate in Logistics Center automatization projects

Requirements

  • Higher Degree – preferred Logistics or other relevant (or equivalent through experience)
  • 4+ years of experience with a background in Functional consulting with JDA WMS implementation activities (advantage: WMS super-user); preferred within a Consumer Goods company
  • Proficiency in English, any other European language is an asset
  • IT systems: JDA WMS (a must), Microsoft Office, basic SQL
  • Able to support JDA WMS and associated integrations, JDA WMS trouble shooting expertise
  • Functional expertise, end to end process support, hands-on configuration changes
  • Experience in implementation, teaming for technical upgrades, Hyper care and support projects
  • Experienced in creating Design Documents, Test Plan and Test scripts
  • Understand how a big DC works, inbound, packing, outbound; advantage: automation experience
  • Hands-on, willingness to learn
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details
  • Solid communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to work with remote teams across multiple locations, within different cultures
  • Travel (post-pandemic): 25-30% global travel in EANZ region
