About the Role:

The Payroll Analyst is responsible for performing analytical duties, auditing and reviewing processes and procedures, process documentation, gathering and interpreting payroll requirements, change management and problem solving.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform reviews on all activities necessary to process monthly payroll to streamline and ensure best practice
  • Work closely with HR to streamline workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely, ensuring all payroll transactions are authorized and in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Assist in project to move to automated workflow of data from HR to payroll, ensuring compliance and accuracy
  • Working with Payroll Project team to implement new payroll vendor in Europe, effecting multiple countries and industries
  • Aid the implementation of case management tool in payroll environment
  • Work with payroll and outside organizations to ensure best practice is applied and business owners are applied, and processes are adhered to
  • Work with Operational payroll teams and Service Delivery Manager to implement Standard Operating model in payroll function for Europe
  • Ensure adherence of 100% data integrity and deliver full compliance to all audit requirements
  • Research and resolve payroll issues promptly ensuring minimal impact to team members delivering compliant solutions
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of payroll practices and inform management of potential changes that require attention
  • Manage the delivery of key payroll projects that include obtaining an understanding of the issue, collaboration with key team members about the issues and co-development of recommendation
  • Partner with human resources to streamline processes ensuring all payroll transactions are authorized and in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Additional projects as assigned


  • Highly established working knowledge of every area of payroll
  • Skills in carrying out process execution reviews
  • Advanced skills in software applications related to payroll
  • Exceptionally capable of analytical thinking
  • Ability to carry out consulting tasks and explain intricate payroll procedures in nonprofessional terms
  • Full cycle payroll responsibilities including account reconciliation and issues related to taxes, garnishments, special payments, retirement and interaction with corporate finance teams
  • Strong verbal and writing communication skills required
  • Self-starter, with minimal direct supervision is preferred
