IT Service Desk Senior Specialist - L2

Goal: to provide second level service desk support to Stanley Black&Decker end users globally.
 
Our 2nd level IT Helpdesk team works from Monday-Friday in a shift system (8-16, 10-18, 14-22), including selected bank hollidays.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Second level of English speaking Service Desk
  • Remote IT support for internal end-users located globally (Americas, Europe & Middle East & Africa, Asia & Pacific)
  • Shift system to provide coverage between 8 am and 10pm CET
  • Resolve Level 2 end-user issues or escalate to relevant assignment groups as appropriate
  • Performance will be measured to meet service level objectives
  • Document and work in accordance with standard operating procedures

Requirements:

  • Complete fluency in English (other languages advantageous)
  • At least 2 years of prior experience in an end-user / helpdesk support environment, IT studies are a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows 10 operating systems and administrative tools including registry manager, event viewer
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office (365), advanced knowledge of Outlook & Exchange
  • Good understanding of Active Directory, experience administering user and computer objects
  • Basic understanding of group policies, logon scripts, DFS
  • Experience with SCCM
  • Able to interact well with others and possess a clear understanding of customer service and support
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving ability
  • Able to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and processes
