SBD is looking for an eCommerce Specialist to take commercial control of our product range in the Internet. This position is responsible for category growth, concentrating on the website and new online product avenues to truly enhance the customer journey.
The eCommerce Specialist is responsible for developing, analyzing, reviewing, recommending, and implementing new and updated online strategic and tactical changes to increase overall business revenue and profitability for the growing internet market.
Partnership Sourcing: Leading the implementation and execution of Internet Sales Process. Identify suitable strategic partners. Then use creative means (including networking, research) to connect with those potential partners.
Partnership Management: General ownership of the partnership relationships, including maintaining day-to-day relationships, product integration and developing business from those partners.
Performance Analysis: Analyzing partner performance, creating and assessing revenue targets, making budget investment decisions and achieving high ROI goals as set by the Management.
Industry Expertise: Up to date knowledge of inventory sourcing trends, specifically as they apply to ecommerce. Experience in a "buyer" position with an online "deals" company is a plus.
ü Bachelor's degree in Sales & Marketing preferred.
ü 2 years of hands-on experience with eCommerce Sales & Marketing, with expertise acquiring customers through digital channels. Professional experience in a Sales or Client Service Role
ü Prior experience includes collaborating with ecommerce professionals as well as working with cross-functional teams
ü Analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
ü Strong relationship builder both within the organization and with external partners
ü Ability to accurately interpret and draw conclusions from data
ü Must-have skills to succeed as Ecommerce Manager include the ability to understand target markets, familiarity with pricing and margin and the ability to identify ‘hot products’
