FP&A Analyst

Purpose:

Own all detailed FP&A reporting and analysis in the SSE Business Pivot for Automation.

Reports to: FPA Manager, Stanley Security Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Consolidate information gathered form the regions on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards, in the light of automation on reporting
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify, and explain trends at the EU level
• Support EHQ financial reporting analyzing the past results, variance analysis, identify and explain trends and providing where necessary financial inputs
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards, in the light of automation on reporting
• Analyze financial data and create reports for decision support gathering insights and of the underlying regional business trends.
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts as required

Requirements:

• Higher Degree – Financial or related (Business, Administration)
• 2 years’ experience in Financial Analysis or related (FP&A, Accounting)
• Advanced Excel – required, experience in a practical application, including Excel solutions (e.g. power query)
• Must have: Power BI, and min. one other technology: Alteryx, SQL, R or Google Analytics
• Organised and disciplined, eager to learn new skills
• Engage naturally with stakeholders across the business and be willing to learn business partnering
• Strong communication and presentations skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Proactive and willing to go the extra mile
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and build relationships with a variety of functions
• Ability to prioritize and independently manage multiple tasks
• Team player
